Welcome to Holy Cross! We are a Byzantine Catholic Church, in communion with the Roman Catholic Church, but celebrating the Divine Liturgy of St. John Chrysostom and other services of the Eastern Byzantine Rite. We would love to have you join us at one of our services.

Divine Liturgy: Sunday 8:30 am (Sung English); 5:00 pm (Sung Ukrainian)

We also have worship services on special occasions.

Holy Cross Church is a member parish of the Eparchy of New Westminster, under the bishop of New Westminster, the newly appointed Most Rev. Kenneth Nowakowski. The Eparchy of New Westminster is part of the Archeparchy of Winnipeg, under Archbishop-Metropolitan Most Rev. Lawrence Hukulak, OSBM; as are all of the Ukrainian Catholic Churches in Canada.

Our Mission: To be a true Christian Community, witnessing to the Good News of Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ by celebrating the Holy Mysteries of the Eucharist and the other Sacraments of the Church, by prayer both public and private, by good works and out-reach in our community, by fidelity to the teachings of the Catholic Church and the traditions of the Byzantine Rite which we follow, by preserving and supporting our unique cultural heritage in both its Ukrainian and Canadian dimensions (e.g. offering services in both Ukrainian and English), and above all by striving, with the help of God's Grace, for true Christian holiness in the lives of our members.

We'd love to hear encouraging feedback on how we have lived up to this mission statement, or constructive feedback on how we might better live up to it. We'd also love your prayers! Contact kbredeman@gmail.com with comments.
